In the past couple days I finished up replacing all the bushings/balljoints/tie rods/etc. in the front end of the RX7, and today after work I got it back on the ground and the last of the Stuff torqued down. Next up will be getting out the string to get the toe set where it should be (or very close to it) and call the front end done (until I find a good set of struts).
I’m dying to go for a drive but spring is still very far away.

I do love a 4-spoke wheel...
Unrelated: I have a set of 14" Hayashi Perrier that were (allegedly) a factory option on some years of RX7. Any idea where would be a good place to hock them?

I’m not sure (other than the rx7 forum) where a good place to list them would be. Cool wheels, though. I like my factory “+” wheels but decent 13" tires are getting to be impossible to find.

Those are 13s!? Wow. They look excellent, but yeah... and I thought 14s were getting hard to find...
I like the Hiyashis, but I think they look wrong on my Alfa. Just bought a set of cromodora turbinas that I am going to slap on sooner or later...

I may order a set of federal ss595s for it, about the only not-race tire that is any good in the size they need.

The air cleaner just looks so odd sitting there on top of the motor. Seems like an EFI setup is more appropriate.

Going back to 205's?

You mean it looks so good sitting there!

Probably. The tires on it now are round and made of rubber, that’s about it (better than dry rot and mis-matched, though!). As I’m sure you know, there is very very limited selection of 13-inch tires out there. My concern is a 205-width tire on a 5.5" wheel - that’s a lot of width to make up in the sidewall. I think there are 185/60s available as well, but that’s noticeably smaller (diameter) than stock.
I’m also vaguely considering a set of Konig Rewinds in 15x7 for the sake of getting good rubber, but I also really, really like the stock wheels.

Unfortunately the car had really dry 205's on 3 out of the 4 corners when I got it. Federal makes a 205 but they are polarizing as far as how they perform.
